Apple demands Samsung to pay $5 to $15 per Galaxy device sold

The patent war between Samsung and Apple is still on going in court in some part of the world and there is a new alleged offer from Apple to settle this patent infringement cases. The offer from Apple is where Samsung will pay from $5 to $15 for every Samsung Android device sold and Samsung Headquarter is not pleased about this offer.

In the recent senior staff meeting Samsung head of telecommunications Shin Jong-kyun expressed his opinion by saying “No compromise!” and Samsung is ready to battle Apple in any court by increasing their patent war budget from $200 million in 2011, to $260 million for 2012.

Apple is acting like Microsoft, where they ask royalty fees instead of full patent infringement cases which takes a longer time to win and cost a lot of money. Android OEM like Samsung already paying Microsoft for the IP patent and if Samsung is easily giving up to Apple demands then Android OEMs are becoming cash cow by some companies like Microsoft and Apple.
