LG Optimus EX – officially announced, specs
After leaked photos and speculations LG Electronics finally announced their new smartphone and provided all the details about – the LG Optimus EX. The LG Optimus EX (LG-SU880/KU8800) is an high-end Android smartphone, powered by a dual core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor at 1.2Ghz and 1GB of RAM. The internal storage is 8GIG and expandable via a microSD.
The operating system is Android 2.3 Gingerbread. This smartphone has WiFi Direct, DLNA(Digital Living Network Alliance) – enables you to display your mobile display to DLNA capable LED or LCD monitors, Bluetooth, HDMI Output. The Camera is a 5MP but the downside is it has no flash.
Another nifty feature of this LG Android phone is its display. The display uses IPS Panel with 700nits making the brightest display for smartphone to date. It can also record 1080p video and HD playblack. The thickness is 9.65mm and only weighs around 127grams.
The battery is said to be 1500mAh. The price and release date is not yet announced so stay tuned here at PinoyDroid.
