There are plenty of tutorials for flashing SBF files with RSD Lite using Windows. But what if you need to unroot or flash back to stock with Ubuntu or another flavor of Linux? Hopefully this guide will be of use to you.

    * First, you will need to download the SBF Flash program
    * Then grab the latest SBF file for the Droid 2
    * Put both files into your Home folder then open up a Terminal window
    * Plug your phone into your computer via USB cable
    * Turn your phone off then hold the UP key on the keyboard and turn it on to put the phone into bootloader mode
    * Then type the following commands: chmod +x sbf_flash
    * Then: sudo ./sbf_flash VRZ_A955_2.3.20_1FF_01.sbf
    * Your phone should start flashing back to stock

Bootlooping? Try this fix via facelessuser:

    1. Pull your Battery.
    2. Replace battery and power on while holding down the X key.
    3. Wait for the android triangle to load.
    4. Press the Search key (the magnifying glass)
    5. Use down arrow and navigate to wipe data/factory reset and press OK.
    6. Reboot phone.
