Xperia Play Modding

Anyone who lives near Cubao/Proj.4 who knows how to:

1. Unlock Bootloader
2. Root
3. Install Stock Sony Ericsson Rom and firmware
4. Install DoomLord Overclock Kernel for Stock Sony Ericcson Rom

5. Knows advanced Android modding techniques
6. Can restore phone back to default factory, with locked bootloader, unrooted, in case things go wrong.
7. Can unbrick an Xperia Play in case things go wrong.

Willing to pay 1k and/or give my Nokia e71.

Things na ipapagawa ko:

1. Kernel- Doomlord Overclock Kernel for Stock Rom (overclock to 1.6ghz)
2. Stock Sony Ericsson Rom (Firmware xx.42 or xx.62) (Android 2.3.4 or 2.3.7)
3. Rooted Rom
4. Ok lang kahit di na maka-upgrade OTA or PC Companion. Basta pwede mag ICS flash upgrade in the future.
5. Maintain Games like Bruce Lee, Sims3, Star Battalion and Asphalt 6 intact.
6. Install SNES, GBA and PSX emulator.
7. Remove bloatware (ok lang to remove playstation xperia kung gagana naman FPSE as PSX emulator)

Sana may expert and gamer (xperia play owner) na willing tumulong. Meetup anywhere in Cubao, or Katipunan.

Hi cmus02,

I think you can do it with some  research, get over to xda forum XPERIA PLAY boards. There are tons of things you can get there.

If you able to root your phone you can install clockworkmod recovery. I think you are familiar with that tool? We use that to update our firmware/rom.

I am a Samsung Android users and I am not familiar with SE Android phones though they are similiar.

ALso you can download stock XPLAY ROMS and Firmware from XDA.

I find no use if you OC your phone, it will drain your juice in no time. I think XPLAY games are optimized to run the game smoothly.

Kindly wait for the root/unroot, I will make a tutorial on it. I am quite busy with my real work this past months and I have no extra time writing some tuts..
