Our "Motorola" Android Kevlar-suited siblings now can sigh in relief as the company announces its update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
While it brings all the goodness of 4.0 to your phone, the company did not quite specify if any new extra features aside from the native OS. Motorola US and carrier Verizon were the ones who announced this so most likely they're the ones to go first. Though
GSM Arena mentioned that they saw it first in Japanese previously.
When checked on the local Motorola website, there are uploaded documents already available on how to upgrade to Android 4.0 and an updated User Guide, which presumably, now with ICS. However, when checked for the latest software update in the site, it still shows a release date of January 18, 2011 (err the phone was released October 2011 so I'm not sure what's up with that).
