The Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000 is getting Android 2.3 Gingerbread update, unbelievable right? but it is true!
As Gingerbread update rolling out in Italy for the Galaxy Tab P1000, the uber guys from XDA pulled it out, rooted it and available for download.
There are two version of this ROM one with bootloader and one without. “If you’re concerned about flashing a ROM that includes a new bootloader, fret not – it’s signed, but not secured. That means you’ll still be able to flash custom kernels, ROMs, etc.” – Android Police

When do ou expect the official release in the Philippines?
I really have no idea since Samsung Philippines is not giving the media and bloggers any details, but one thing is sure those ROM from XDA works!

Gingerbread? I had that confused with Honeycomb for a moment! Android and their crazy words…
Its Android 2.3 Gingerbread mate, while the Android 3.0 Honeycomb.
