The Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000, is the first Android tablet from Samsung and it was the quick answer to the Apple iPad. Previously reported that it will be getting Android 2.3 and today it is confirmed.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Gingerbread update is rolling out via Kies update in Italy. They are the first to update their original (P1000) Galaxy Tab. So if you own one, check your kies and maybe the Gingerbread update is ready.
The firmware version of KIES is : P1000XXJPZ.
