Absence of Android Market App in My LG Optimus One

My mom got me an LG Optimus One last week here in Dubai but I didn't realize that my phone didn't have the Android Market app. I remember the saleslady asking me to go to an LG Showroom in The Dubai Mall to get an "update". But when I got there, the tech support guy said they didn't have the said "update" for my phone because it's relatively new in the market. My problem is, I'm flying to The Philippines in 3 days. If I don't get my updated with the Android Market app, can they do it in LG store in The Philippines?
