HTC has confirmed that HTC Desire, Disire HD and Desire Z will be getting Android 2.3 Gingerbread update in Q2 of 2011. This is a good news for Desire owners, currently the Desire family has Froyo on it, according to Slashgear’s source. Other than the Desire family, Incredible S is also getting Froyo this Q2.
The release of the update will coincide with the release of the Desire S and Wildfire S where both handset will have Gingerbread straight out of the box.
