LG Electronics recently launched two new Android 2.3 Gingerbread smartphone under the Optimus series, namely the LG Optimus LG Optimus Pro (LG-C660) and the LG Optimus Net (LG-P690). The two new LG Android phones are more into social networking and communications just like the HTC Salsa and HTC Cha-cha.
The LG Optimus Pro is LG’s first QWERTY Android phone with 2.8 screen display. It has also a touch screen at 2.8 inches. The full keyboard is ergonomic and have shortcuts keys for functions like email and scheduler. the LG Optimus Pro will come in three colors: black, white, titanium.
The LG Optimus Net is made with social networking in mind. This Android phone has the capability to serve as a portal for various social networking services because of LG’s Social+ widget where you can simultaneously update status and share phones in all your social accounts. It will also have variants depending on the region, for Europe there will be NFC capable Optimus Net and dual SIM for South America and Asia. The US version has QWERTY keyboard most likely a slide keyboard.
Both phones is powered by an 800-Mhz process and Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
