While the Brits are enjoying the Olympics, reports from Slashgear that the UK version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 WiFi and Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus are getting Ice Cream Sandwich Update.  The update is via Samsung Kies and the new update introduced changes to the Touch Wiz UX.

The Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is faster compared to Android 2.3 Gingerbread and with new added features like Face Unlock, better browser and enhanced camera. Right now only UK and Italy are the getting the said update while the US version and carrier update is not available.

If you own a Tab 10.1 or Tab 7.0 plus check your Kies or OTA update if it is already available in our region.
