Intel has joined the smartphone market by introducing the Lava’s Xolo X900 powered by their very own system-on-a-chip. This phone is powered by Intel Atom processor Z2460 with Intel® Hyper Threading Technology clock at 1.6Ghz. It has 16GB of internal storage with 1Gigabyte of RAM. Its 400Mhz GPU is capable of 1080p video playback and recording. The cameras are 8-megapixel and 1-megapixel for the front-facing camera. The display size is at 4-inches with 1024×600 resolution.
The first Intel smartphone introduced was at MWC 2012 is the Lenovo K800 but it will be arriving this May and Lava is the first OEM to introduce pure Intel Android phone to the market. Xolo X900 will be available in India on April 23 with a price of Rs 22,000 (around $445).
