Huawei U8150 IDEOS – the cheapest Android phone

Huawei Philippines recently released the  U8150 IDEOS. It will cost around $200 or Php 9,000.00 here in the Philippines. The IDEOS is a cheap Android phone to hit the market but don’t get wrong with this device because it is packed with power and cool android applications. You can add more application from the Google Android Market

The Huawei U8150 IDEOS will be available here in the Philippines by this first quarter of 2011. The Huawei U8150 IDEOS uses the latest Android 2.2 Froyo.

One neat feature of this Android phone is that it can serve as a router and can serve up to 8 devices simultaneously. So if you have a data plan you can use this to connect your laptop and other wireless devices to have internet connection. The downside of this is it will draw a lot of power to the device, so expect that the device’s battery will last only for a couple hours.
