Toshiba finally announced their Android 3.0 Honeycomb Tablet. Meet the Toshiba 10.1 Regza Tablet, a dual-core Nvidia Tegra powered slate. The internal specification is pretty much the same like the Motorola Xoom and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. The screen size is 10.1-inches at 1200×800 pixels in resolution. It has two cameras, the 5MP pixel rear camera and 2MP front camera. The storage is an internal 16Gigabyte and it has 1GB of RAM. Aside from its internal storage it is expandable via MicroSD and USB and mini-USD. It has Bluetooth and WiFi (b/g/n) for connectivity. No further details if they will launched an LTE or 3G version of this Tablet.
It is said, to have an Adaptive Display which is very good for outdoor viewing. Toshiba will also integrate this device to connect with other Toshiba devices such as Toshiba HDTV, Blue-ray players, and Toshiba laptops.
It will be available this June in Japan for the price of around $700 USD.
After the great Earthquake and Tsumai that struck Japan. This is a good news and a good sign that the Electronic industry in that country is almost in its pace.
