Two upcoming Acer Aconia Tab were spotted in Russia. Acer Aconia Tab A200 and Tab A700. The Aconia Tab A200 is a mid-range tablet while the A700 belongs to the latest Tegra 3 ‘Quad-core’ spot. The display for the A700 is 10.1″ at 1920×1200, yes it is full HD. The two Acer Android tablet is heading to CES 2012 next month.
The Aconia A700 is a 3G enabled tablet because of the SIM slot located in one of its border and has microHDMI output. For the sound it has a Dolby Digital logo and assume to support sorround sounds technologies. The camera is 5MP with LED Flash and for the sound output it has 3.5mm jack. Notable feature of this tablet is the dedicated rotation lock switch which suggest that it might use physical button to unlock or will be integrated to buttonless unlock of the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
We can see more about the Acer Android Tablet A700 at CES 2012 next month and more infos with be gathered there and the pricing is yet unknown and rumored to be released this March 2012. The ASUS Transformer Prime is the current leading Tegra 3 – Android 4.0 tablet in the market. If the specs where right and about same as that of Asus T-Prime the winning battle will be decided in the price.
