Last weekend Samsung released the Galaxy S Gingerbread update but today April 20 Google suspend the update according to the forum post of a Vodafone Community Manager. Google has not yet provided the specific details why they stopped the update. As we know, Samsung is a little bit lazy in providing update for the Galaxy S and this major update gave light to those Galaxy S users that uses either Eclair or Froyo.
According to Android headlines post their might be some performance issues but Vodafone update is not affected and no user feedback about any problem regarding Gingerbread running on Galaxy S. I hope Google or Samsung will provide us the details of the update suspension.
