Samsung Galaxy S II is the best selling Android device to date with 20-million units sold worldwide and we all know that Samsung is working on the Android 4.0 ICS update. The good news is that Samsung will start to roll out the ICS upgrade for Galaxy S II this March 15. The first country to get the update is Israel. As announced in Samsung Israel Facebook page both unlocked and carrier-branded GS II will get the first taste.
No other information is given for other countries. It was expected that by March 1, Samsung will start to roll out the upgrade. The Galaxy S II has so many variants and customized per carrier especially in the United States. Also no other word if the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for Galaxy S II will be using the new Touch Wiz UI 5 for Android 4. So, lets hope that Samsung will release more update especially for the International version.
