A new Samsung mid-range android phone  is now in the Philippines. The Samsung Galaxy Fit S5670 is powered by a 600Mhz Processor and Android 2.2 Froyo. It is  a 2G and 3G network support. It is equipped with standard 5MP Camera with QVGA display and 3.3-inches capacitive touchscreen display,  capable of 16-Million colors of resolution 240×320 pixels.

The internal memory is only at 160MB and expandable  via microSD up to 32GIG. The out of the box Galaxy Fit has a free 2GIG micro-SD for extra storage, just enough for apps and hundred of Mp3 songs.

For connectivity the Fit have WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooh 2.1 with A2DP and USB 2.0.

The phone GUI is Samsung’s latest TouchWiz UI 3.0, the same with the latest Galaxy SII  and other latest Samsung Android phones.

Samsung Galaxy Fit  specs:
Android: Android 2.2 Froyo
CPU: 600Mhz Processor
Network: 2G and 3G (HSDPA)
Connectivity: WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 A2DP, USB 2.0
Internal Storage: 160MB
Expandable Storage: up to 32GiG

Performance wise, you can not really compare this to Android Phones with 1Ghz CPU for it has only 600Mhz. The Android Froyo 2.2 for this phone will take advantage of the flash player support. The 3.3 – inches display @ 240x320pixels is enough for daily browsing and social networking and for its price this one of the best mid-range Android phone.

The Samsung Galaxy Fit Philippine price is Php 12, 250. This is great contender to LG Optimus One.
