Samsung Galaxy Z – Tegra 2 and SC LCD display

samsung-galaxy-z-pinoydroidThere is no denial that  the Samsung Galaxy S2 is the king of all Smartphones and sold more than 1-Million units in South Korea alone. Samsung is not stopping there yet, Samsung recently announced a lower version of the Galaxy S II.

The Samsung Galaxy Z at first look is more like the Galaxy S2 but the internal specs and components are not the same. It is powered by a Nvidia Tegra 2 – a dual core A9 Cortex clocked at 1Ghz. The  the camera is a 5MegaPixel capable of 720p video recording.

The display is not a SUPER AMOLED  but rather a SC-LCD at 4.2 inches.  The phone measures 125.3 x 66.1 x 9.5 mm and weighs 135g, not same as Galaxy S 2 but still impressive.

The Samsung Galaxy Z is a good alternative if you don’t want to spend much on a Galaxy S2.  Personally I find this phone as the perfect alternative to Galaxy S2 compared to other brands. It has a dual core processor and it is Tegra 2. The LCD display is pretty decent though SUPER AMOLED is monster!

The Samsung Galaxy Z price is yet to be announced.
