HTC Flyer – HTC’s first Tablet and its powered by Android. Formally announced at Mobile World Congress 2011, HTC Flyer runs on Android 2.4 and 1.5Ghz single-core processors. Its features are 7-inches display, 5-Megapixel Rear camera, 1.3 Megapixel front camera for video conferencing. It has 1GIG of RAM and 16GIG and 32GIG of internal storage.
It is expected to be available in Q2 of 2011 however the Android pre-installed is Android 2.4 (still Gingerbread) and the Honeycomb update will follow after its release.
HTC Flyer also feature a new HTC Sense UI and the latest HTC Scribe technology which allow you use pen for taking notes, drawing and writing notes.
With its current specs the HTC flyer can not go head to head with Motorola Xoom, SamsungGalaxy Tab 10.1 and LG G-Slate. HTC is a little behind with Tablet wars maybe they are giving more focus to Smartphones but who knows HTC might surprise as this coming months.
