Lenovo the fourth larget PC maker in the world will launch its first ever Android Tablet. The LePad is a 10.1 inch Slate commonly known as a Tablet and this was last seen at CES 2011 in Las Vegas. At its launch the LePad will be running Android 2.2 and 1.2Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor on its hood while its competitors are gearing up there Tablets with Android 3.0 Honeycomb and Nvidia Tegra 2 processors.
The LePad international price is around $399 and $499 USD. It was reported that Lenovo will not sell this tablet in the international market, maybe that China market alone will suffice the targeted number they need. It will due this March in China and for the international market this June. Unlike Galaxy Tab 10.1, Xoom and LG G-Slate (running in Honeycomb) target market is North America, Lenovo couldn’t say where is the targeted market. But I am looking forward for LePad SouthEast Asia market including the Philippines.
This LePad video shows as a hybrid system with Windows 7 and Android Slate in-one.
